Law Enforcement Guidelines
Last updated: June 22, 2026
These guidelines are for law-enforcement agencies seeking records or assistance from GamersGoneWild ("GGW"). They do not create any rights for users and do not waive any objections we may have to a particular request.
Service of legal process
Subpoenas, court orders, search warrants, and other formal legal process should be served on:
Legal Department
GamersGoneWild — c/o Richard Haines
319 77th Avenue, St Pete Beach, FL 33706, United States
Email: legal@gamersgonewild.life
§ 2257 records custodian: Richard Haines, 319 77th Avenue, St Pete Beach, FL 33706 — 2257@gamersgonewild.life. See the § 2257 Compliance Statement for inspection procedures.
We accept service by email for valid legal process from a verifiable law-enforcement domain. Service by email does not waive any objections to validity or jurisdiction.
What process is required for what data
- Basic subscriber information (name on file, account creation date, IP at signup, billing email) — subpoena or equivalent legal process.
- Transactional records and IP history — court order under 18 U.S.C. § 2703(d) or equivalent.
- Content of communications, DMs, stored video, ID-verification documents — search warrant supported by probable cause, issued by a court of competent jurisdiction.
- Stored content from outside the United States — typically requires an MLAT request, letter rogatory, or other recognized mechanism.
Preservation requests
We honor formal preservation requests under 18 U.S.C. § 2703(f) for 90 days, with a single 90-day extension on written request. Email preservation requests to legal@gamersgonewild.life with the subject line "Preservation Request" and include the account identifier (username, email, or user ID).
Emergency disclosure
In emergencies involving an imminent risk of death or serious physical injury, we may disclose limited information under 18 U.S.C. § 2702(b)(8) / (c)(4) without legal process. Email legal@gamersgonewild.life with the subject line "Emergency Disclosure Request", attach the completed emergency disclosure form, and provide a callback for the agent of record.
Child safety
Suspected child sexual abuse material is reported by GGW to the NCMEC CyberTipline as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A. CyberTip reports may be matched to your investigation by contacting NCMEC directly with the report number.
User notice
Our policy is to notify users when their records are sought, except where notice is prohibited by law (e.g., a non-disclosure order under 18 U.S.C. § 2705(b)) or where notice would create a risk of imminent harm.
Data we do not have
We do not retain payment-card numbers (handled by our PCI-compliant payment processor). We do not record private 1-on-1 video sessions unless required by an active preservation order or trust & safety hold.
Cost reimbursement
We may seek reimbursement for the reasonable costs of responding to legal process as permitted by law.
